I attended the Texas A&M-Commerce Observatory Open House last night. The observatory has 2-8" Meade LX200 and 2-10" Meade LX200 on the observatory grounds and the observing dome has a computer driven Meade 16" LX200 with CCD capabilities that has a 5" Televue refractor as a guide scope. The facility is nice though small. Viewing was great except for some clouds to the west. About 40 individual attended in the 30 minutes that I was there.
